ABOUT US​
Shlomo Golombeck has been performing at concerts and events of all types since the age of 11. He performed all over the country with the Miami Boys Choir as a child, and is a past member of the Miami Alumni.
Based in Passaic, NJ, he has performed both solo and with groups all over the world. Some of his gig based excursions outside the Tri-State Area have been Puerta Vallarta, Mexico; Jerusalem, Israel; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; Portland, OR; Park City, UT; St. Louis, MO; Newport, RI; and Chicago, IL. He currently manages the Shlomo Golombeck Orchestra which provides a multitude of varieties to bring joy to your event through music. To learn more click here.
Shlomo plays yearly at the Times Square Kumzits and is the official DJ of Kids of Courage, an organization that helps kids with chronic illnesses. He has played and sang with some of the top Jewish artists including Yaakov Shwekey, Avraham Fried, Mordechai Ben David, Yeedle, Gad Elbaz, Dovid Gabay, Benny Friedman, Mordechai Shapiro, Simcha Leiner, Michael Pruzansky, and Micha Gamerman.
Aside from playing live music and DJing, he typically spends shabbos and yom tov singing with several different highly popular a cappella groups including his own. They daven for the amud, lead lively zemiros, and lead a musical havdalah, among other things.
During the school year, Shlomo teaches music and movement to children of all ages at several schools in the Tri-State Area. He also performs at school functions of many schools in the Greater NYC area. During the summer, he teaches music at Camp Moshava Ba'ir - a division of B'nei Akiva.
In addition, Shlomo gives both beginner and advanced music lessons to a wide range of students in Passaic and Bergen County. His students play a variety of instruments including piano, keyboard, guitar, ukulele, DJ and voice. For more info please see the lessons tab.
Shlomo is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and proficient in Krav Maga. He runs a martial arts program for boys and teens in Passaic/Clifton. To learn more about the classes, check out the Invictus tab.
He has previously been the Youth Director at the Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton and Head Counselor in Camp Acheinu (Passaic based day camp.)
